The segmental cat/camel is an exercise that I give to a lot of my osteopathic patients. It is part of a series of exercises called Controlled Articular Rotations (CARs). CARs are a great tool to:
1. Improve mobility
2. Improve body awareness
3. Reduce/resolve pain.
If, you have a desk job or any kind of back pain try to perform this exercise a few times a day (in a pain free range of motion) 5-6 repetitions up and down.
