The Importance of Sleep.

One question I always ask both my osteopathy patients and personal training clients is about their sleep.

Poor sleep can lead to:

1. Poor concentration.

2. Affects memory.

3. Affects the ability to suppress the appetite leading to weight gain.

4. Increases the risk of developing heart disease.

5. Comprised immune system.

6. Affects emotional wellbeing.

A great book I recommend is Why We Sleep by Matthew Walker. It gives great information about the benefits of sleep and useful tips you can use to help improve yours.
